Soils play a vital role in the disposal of wastewater. In North Carolina, over half the houses utilize the soils in their on-site septic systems to cleanse and dispose of their household wastewater and are being installed at a rate of 40,000 per year. The other houses drain to municipal wastewater treatment systems. These municipal systems often discharge straight into our streams and drinking water. However, a growing number are now discharging to spray fields and, once again, relying on soils for cleaning and disposing.

Their team of Licensed Soil Scientists stays current with laws and regulations governing wastewater systems as well as the latest technology (mapping grade GPS, AutoCAD, constant-head permeameters, etc.) in order to provide the most accurate and efficient information to our clients.
